We offer adult courses with a native speaker, a qualified Czech teacher, or a combination of both. All our adult courses are focused on the specific needs, interests, and abilities of the individual student. Every class is unique and structured to improve the English of the specific learner. We offer a wide variety of courses to suit every individual’s requirements.

Free assessment lesson

We want you to be completely satisfied and happy with your English lessons in our school. That’s why we want to find the best course for you. To do this we need to know all about your specific needs, problems, desires, and ambitions. We don’t offer placement tests or assessment questionnaires because they don’t tell us about you as an individual. Instead contact us to arrange a free interview in our school, your home, or your company at a time that is convenient for you. During this meeting we can discuss the details of the best program of study for you and we can also accurately assess your level. We’re looking forward to meeting you.

A. Individual courses - ONE TO ONE

• Efficiency - Due to the intensity of one to one you can make rapid progress in a short time. The pace of the lesson, the diversity of the material used, and the method of studying will be exactly tailored to your specific demands maximizing your rate of progress.

• Focus - The syllabus is constructed entirely to suit your level of English, your specific problems with English, your interests, wishes, and needs. You will receive very detailed personal guidance on how to improve the areas of English that are most important for you. You will significantly boost the areas of vocabulary that are most relevant to you. Your grammar problems will be quickly resolved and you will have the opportunity to learn and use new grammar forms.

• Flexibility - You can change the time, structure, subject or location of your lesson up to 24 hours in advance to suit your requirements. You can also cancel and reschedule your lesson to another day 24 hours in advance at no extra charge.

B. Group courses

• Sociability – In our small groups can study with colleagues, friends, partners or make new friends by studying with students of a very similar level to you. You will study together with a maximum of seven other students in a fun and creative way which will improve your practical communication skills.

• Progress - We will find the right group for you. If you are not completely satisfied with your group you will be free to try a different group or a different level at any time. Your English will, of course, improve over time and you can progress through the different levels.

In our school you can study in really small groups of 2 or 3 or you can choose groups of 4 or more students. The maximum number of students in a group is 8.

Don’t worry if you don’t know what level you are. We offer a free assessment lesson for all new students to help find the best group for you.

• Diversity - Studying in a group is an entertaining and interesting experience. You will experience a wide range of vocabulary, phrases, grammar from different sources according to your interests and the interests of your fellow students. You will discuss a variety of topics and subjects and you will learn to argue, joke, debate, and explain yourself in English.

C: Exam Preparation Courses

 

 

You can receive professional tutoring towards any specific exam in English. We have a lot of experience and success in preparing students for a number of different exams. We can also provide information about testing centres, test dates, and English certificate requirements for academic institutions both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

We can prepare you for a wide variety of exams including

• State Exams
• PET, FCE or CAE Exams

D. Firm Courses

Big or Small - We can provide tailored courses for small businesses, or large companies depending on your requirements and desires. You can attend lessons in our school or we can commute to your company.

Structure - It is possible to divide individuals in your firm according to their level, their requirements, and their department and to structure these groups accordingly. We can provide original, effective, and professional solutions for all your business English needs.

Practicality – We will focus on improving the specific area of English that you and your employees and colleagues need and use in your job as well as upgrading your general level of English. There will be opportunities to practice presentations, negotiations, meetings and other business scenarios in a supportive, structured, and productive atmosphere.

E. Home Visit

It is possible to have your English lesson in your place of work, in your home, in the pub, the countryside, or on a tennis court. Anywhere is possible. It’s important for you to be in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We are confident that you will enjoy the atmosphere of our school but you are free to choose the location of your lessons.
